kanye's last foray into fashion didn't exactly rock the catwalk and his latest debut in paris seems to have created more questions than answers...
many are still querying the designers vision and outside involvement but kanye has decided to still the critics with silence. yep, kanye the man who lay on the floor of the BDO stage and talked away for 20 mins about the inspiration in his music only had this to say “If they don’t understand it, they don’t understand it.”
most critiques of the collection have gone with an 'improved' theme when it comes to his designs while one writer liz jones from the daily mail uk has launched a scathing attack on the star saying his pieces have 'no imagination, no morals' and let me tell you after reading her explanation of what astrakhan is (fur from a lamb foetus) i did feel a distinct burning sensation rise up in my throat.
which then opens up a whole'nother debate entirely as i am happy to eat a hamburger and hang leather off my arm all day yet when it comes to fur i'm definitely a faux girl... but then i do share pics of celebs and style stars who are definitely sporting the real deal...
i guess i can only say i'm an example of a contradiction wrapped in a riddle inside an enigma.
if kanye's clothes are speaking for themselves, what are they saying to you???
